Happy Halloween Treat Box

Hello Friends! Marisa here with a Happy Halloween Treat Box to share with you. I had a great time creating this box with the Cupcake & Treat Box Die Set from Tonic and their new Halloween dies.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

Other Supplies: Purple and black cardstock, 3D Foam Creative Sheets by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L, black silk ribbon.

Instructions:

1. Die cut box with Cupcake & Treat Box Die Set from purple cardstock. Assemble box by gluing at the tabs with Funky Glue Pen. Die cut larger tag in the set from purple cardstock.

2. Die cut Happy Halloween, Pumpkin Scene, and Haunted House as follows.

3. Die cut solid background or outer part of the die from black 3D foam creative sheets and the inner part of the die from black cardstock.

4. Apply Happy Halloween, Pumpkin Scene, and Haunted House black die cuts to the adhesive foam sheet backgrounds. Cover sticky areas with Nuvo Spiced Apricot Pure Sheen Glitter.

5. Peel off Adhesive foam backing and apply to box front and back as pictured below.

6. Die cut Boo!, Best Witches and Trick or Treat from black cardstock. Glue to sides of box and tag.

7. Close box using black silk ribbon and make a bow.

You can fill your decorated box with Halloween treats of your choice.

Birthday Wishes Card by Marisa Job

Hello friends! I have been having so much fun with my Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens. They are great for coloring and creating water colored backgrounds. The colors blend beautifully with water using the Nuvo spray bottle and Nuvo water brush.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

Other Supplies: White, Purple and blue cardstock, white watercolor cardstock, Ranger Distress Inks, purple silk ribbon, heat tool.

Instructions:

1. Create a 6” x 6” card base from purple cardstock. Die cut a 5 ½” x 5 ½” square with Scalloped Square die set from white watercolor cardstock.

2. To create the water colored background, scribble with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens on glass cutting mat. I used Aqua Splash, Indigo Dawn and Azure Blue Aqua Flow pens. Spray water on top with Nuvo Light Mist Spray Bottle and then apply white watercolor cardstock on top to capture color. Dry wet cardstock with heat tool. Repeat this process several times until colors are darker.

3. Die cut Posy Pillar Strips from white cardstock. Color with Aqua Flow pens as background. Glue to card with Funky Glue Pen. Color inside the die cuts with Aqua Splash pen and Nuvo Water Brush.

4. Mat water colored square with blue cardstock and adhere to card front.

5. Die cut flowers with Apple Blossom die set from white cardstock. Color flowers and leaves with distress inks and dauber. Shape petals with Floral Crafters Tool set, glue layers together and then adhere to card as pictured. Embellish center of flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

6. Create a bow with purple silk ribbon and glue under flower.

Cupcake & Treat Box by Marisa Job

Hello Friends! This is such a cute box die set, very simple and fun project to make. I was able to fit 2 Nuvo Crystal Drops bottles in this box for a present for one of my friends.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

Other Supplies: Teal Metallic Cardstock, White Cardstock, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Sheets, Pink Silk Ribbon, Sponge Dauber.

Instructions:

1. Die cut Cupcake & Treat Box base from teal metallic cardstock. You need to die cut 2 pieces for the box base.

2. Die cut decorative pieces from white cardstock. Color with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I used 3 colors, Royal Aubergine, Pink Flambe and Orange Blush. I also used a sponge dauber to mix colors together.

3. Die cut decorative background pieces from white cardstock and double adhesive sheet. Adhere colored decorative pieces to adhesive background pieces and then cover exposed sticky areas with Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter.

4. Adhere decorative pieces to box with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive glue. Assemble box by folding scored lines and gluing at the tabs.

5. Die cut small tag from die set. Tie box together with a ribbon.

Congratulations Card by Marisa Job

Hello Friends! Today I have this Congratulations card to share with you. I created this card for a nephew that just graduated from college. It is hard for me to make a simple card without flowers but I was pretty happy how it turned out with the use of Nuvo Gilding Flakes.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

Other Supplies: Black cardstock, silver foil cardstock, foam tape.

Instructions:

1. Create a 6” x 4 ¾” card base from black cardstock.

2. Apply double adhesive sheet to cardstock. Die cut rectangle using largest die from the Framed Screens set. Apply Nuvo Gilding Flakes in all 3 colors to the adhesive sheet, brush to clean extra flakes. Apply panel to card front.

3. Die Cut Blocked Parquet & Garden Trellis from black cardstock. Adhere to card front.

4. Die cut Congratulations from double adhesive sheet and cardstock, cover with Gilding flakes. Mat sentiment with black and silver cardstock and then adhere to card using foam tape.

Here is another card using the same die set without the Gilding Flakes. For this card I used kraft cardstock for the card base and silver foil cardstock for the Framed Screens.

Happy Anniversary Card by Marisa Job

Hello Friends! I have another card to share with you created with Tonic’s gorgeous die sets called Fanciful Florals for the borders and Beautiful Blooms for the flowers.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

 Other Supplies: Designer cardstock, white cardstock, chalk ink in blue and green, silk ribbon.

Instructions:

1. Create a 6” x 6” card base from white cardstock. Cover card front with 3 layers of designer cardstock.

2. Cut a 5 ½” x 2 ½” piece of designer cardstock, adhere to center of card.

3. Die cut Happy Anniversary from white cardstock. Glue sentiment to center of card using Funky Glue Pen.

4. Die cut Fanciful Floral strips from white cardstock. Glue to sentiment panel as pictured.

5. Die cut multiple flowers and leaves using Beautiful Blooms from white Foamiran. Color with chalk ink, shape with Floral Crafters tool set and then glue to card.

On Your Big Day Card by Marisa Job

Hello Friends! I had a great time making this card using Nuvo Aqua Flow pens and Nuvo water brush. The colors are bright and blend beautifully with a little water from the water brush. The flowers, leaves, and frame were die cut with Tonic’s beautiful dies.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

 Other Supplies: White cardstock, foam squares, Versamark embossing ink, black ink pad, Ranger Distress inks, heat gun. 

Instructions: 

1. Die cut card base using Swirling Frame layering die set from white cardstock.

2. Die cut a smaller piece from watercolor cardstock for the background. Stamp Vine Flourish using Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, Versamark and Nuvo white embossing powder and then heat set.

3. Color background with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens and Nuvo water brush. Dry with heat gun and adhere to card base with Funky Glue pen.

4. Stamp Henna Tag with Versamark and Nuvo white embossing powder and then heat set. Color with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens and Nuvo water brush. Stamp sentiment with black ink. Die cut Henna tag with oval die and adhere to center of card using foam squares.

5. Die cut flowers and leaves using Beautiful Blooms Woodland Aster die set from white cardstock. Color with distress inks, shape with Floral Crafters tool set and then adhere to card as pictured. Embellish center of flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Let’s Celebrate Card by Marisa Job

Hello Friends! Spring is finally here and the days are getting warmer here in California. Flowers are blooming everywhere and it always inspires me to make paper flowers. This card was created with the beautiful Invite Insert die sets which coordinate with each other and for the flowers I used Hello Sweetie Pie stamp and die set.

Tonic Studios Supplies:

Other Supplies: Metallic White Cardstock, Silver Foil Cardstock.

Instructions:

1. Create a 5 ½” x 5 ½” card base from silver foil cardstock. Cut 2 smaller layers from orange and metallic white cardstock, adhere layers to card with Funky Tape Runner.

2. Die cut decorative panels from silver foil cardstock with Beautiful Banner, Archway Stripe and Rose Garden Invite Insert Die Sets. Glue decorative panels to left side of card with Funky Glue Pen.

3. Stamp banner with Wedding & Party stamp set, then die cut with coordinating die from Beautiful Banner die set. Glue banner to center of card.

4. Die cut flowers with flower die from Whimsical Frames Hello Sweetie-Pie. Color flowers with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Orange Blush, Royal Aubergine and Pink Flambe colors.

5. Die cut leaves with Arboreal Dream die set, color with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Spring Green. Glue leaves on the right side of card and then glue flowers on top of leaves.

6. Embellish center of flowers and also around flowers with Nuvo Glitter Drops.
