Spring Layout | Love You

Spring is in the air! The blossoms opening up, the sweet scents of the season to come, and a promise of a fresh start are just some of the reasons this can be a favorite season! Let’s celebrate, and get creating!

Supplies used:

To begin, choose your stencil and embellishment mousse.

You will then layer on your embellishment mousse in the desired areas. Then, allow to dry, or use your heat tool to speed up the drying time.

Next, you will choose your patterned paper to make the delicate heart die. Your Tim Holtz snips will come in handy, to poke out the little pieces from this intricate type of die cut!

Add your deluxe adhesive to the delicate heart, and adhere to doily.  Then, adhere your doily to your paper, overlapping the embellishment mousse.

Next, you will create the heart die cut.  This die cut was borrowed, and you can make one and then have an original to trace, as this project shows.

You will then use your paper distresser along the edges of the heart.  EYamabe.TonicSpringLayout - 7.jpg

After you choose your embossing powder, you will create your sentiment Love You More next.

Using a scallop circle punch, you will punch out a 3″ scallop circle from white cardstock.

Stamp the image with versamark ink.

Add your embossing powder over your stamped image.  Tap off the excess powder.

Use your embossing gun or heat tool to allow your embossing powder to set.

Ink your edges with any distress ink you desire.

Add your glitter accents adhesive to the outside edges.

Your cute little banner comes next!

Choose any four of the banners from the Tonic decorative banners die cut set.

You will create two sets of those four banner die cuts.

Apply the deluxe adhesive to the decorative side of your banner pieces.

Lastly, you will add some Nuvo Crystal drops to the tops of your decorative banners, and voila!  Your beautiful spring layout is here!
