Tonic’s Double Detail Die and Stencil Set is perfect to use with our Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. This creamy metallic medium gives your project luxurious texture. It is easy to use and clean up is a snap. Blog Ambassador Heidi Blankenship created this sophisticated card with the gold mousse and butterfly die and stencil set.
- Using white cardstock cut/emboss two strips of the Bluebell Meadow Double Detail Die. Fussy cut the two butterflies from one strip. Apply inks to add color to the butterfly using a cotton ball or sponge and set aside.
- Adhere the second die cut strip to another piece of white cardstock cut to the same size. Cover the white area that is not part of the die cut with the glue pen and then add Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter Light Gold 707N. Layer a piece of black craft foam and cardstock to the backside of the white strip.
- On the larger white cardstock piece use the Bluebell Meadow Stencil and Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Indian Gold to stencil the images on each side and set aside to dry. Tape the butterflies that were fussy cut from step 1 to the back of the stencil and apply the mousse. Carefully remove and set aside to dry. Be sure to clean the stencil right away.
- Once the mousse is dry adhere the white panel to the black cardstock base. Assemble the card as show by adding the panel with the die cut strip and then use pop dots to adhere the colored butterflies.
